deadmau5 plans to revive signature Cube stage
Deadmau5 has been exceptionally productive as of late, taking to all of his social media accounts to share pictures of a newly re-vamped studio, an endless slew of clips that will hopefully be incorporated into his new body of work, and hints of collaborations with label-mates Matt Lange and ATTLAS.
Joel Zimmerman has now revealed yet another exciting development through Twitter, announcing potential plans to re-instate his signature cube stage.
“I’m only really looking to spend 2 million-ish to get the cube show ‘upgraded,'” said Zimmerman on Friday evening. He further divulged that if his plan came to fruition, he’d be “touring like a madman.”
The Cube is of course one of deadmau5’s most iconic stage setups, debuted in 2010 as 4 x 4=12 neared release and playing home to stunning LED visuals synced in perfect conjunction with popular hits at the time like “Strobe” and “Raise Your Weapon.”
Thinking about getting @taittowers on board to help engineer the cube ;) once that’s done + music… Then I’ll tour like a madman
