Electronic garage-pop may not be a familiar genre to most, or one that even existed before DENM appeared on the scene. The West Coast based talent is currently gearing up for the release of his debut EP, Dreamhouse with its lead off single “Lit.” Namesake be damned, this track is far from a teeth-grinding banger. Rather, “Lit” is a nuanced and whimsical house inspired cut that represents not only his first release, but the catalyst for the entire DENM project. There’s something devilishly unique about this first foray into dance territory and its immediately catchy style extends throughout the remainder of the EP.
