Die Antwoord share thrashing new trap remix of ‘Pitbull Terrier’
Die Antwoord kicked the door in last week with new music, providing a taste of their forthcoming mixtape with their first track in two years, “Dazed & Confused.” The new collection, aptly titled Suck On This, has the squalid South African rave-rappers in rare form, and the new music keeps keeps rolling in. Roping in additional production credits from GOD, Die Antwoord have unleashed an aggressive new remix of “Pitbull Terrier” that is foaming at the mouth to say the least.
With the help of GOD, Die Antwoord amp up their gritty 2014 hip-hop piece to a thundering festival-trap production. Ninja and Yolandi’s call-and-response hook meets snapping snare hits and razer-sharp basslines, while chaotic vocal chops and a pair of bulldozing breaks help cement the track’s riotous appeal.
