Diplo confirms new track ‘Cold Water’ with MØ and Justin Bieber

Recently Diplo and Justin Bieber drummed up a little hype on Twitter, tantalizing fans with messages back and forth about new music on the way. As one half of Jack Ü, Diplo’s run with Justin Bieber in 2015 amounted to an American Music Award and a Grammy for “Where Are Ü Now,” while as Major Lazer‘s ringleader, the DJ Snake and -assisted “Lean On” dominated Spotify and Youtube’s yearly stats and earned a Billboard Music Award. Now the Mad Decent head honcho has plans to bring both MØ and Justin Bieber together on a single collaboration now known to be called “Cold Water” for another surefire hit.

Confirming the collaboration via Beats 1 on his Lazer Sound segment, Diplo announces the track will be released in a few weeks, officially commencing the roll out of their next record, Music Is The Weapon. Amid a packed touring schedule over the summer, Diplo verifies that the album is still being pieced together, and the first listen is just around the corner.
