Hardwell cancels Antwerp show of ‘I AM Hardwell’ tour
Citing concerns over the atmosphere and general state of high alert in Belgium following the March terrorist attacks in Brussels, Hardwell and his team have announced that they are canceling the May 13 show of his “I AM Hardwell” tour stop in Antwerp. In an official release, Hardwell’s team has said that a final European show to replace Antwerp’s is in the works and will be announced at a later date. They go on to say that those who purchased tickets to the Antwerp performance will be the first informed of the replacement show’s details.
Hardwell himself has yet to issue a personal statement on the cancellation. The full, translated release from his team is available below.
“To our great regret we have to announce that I AM Hardwell United We Are show in Antwerp, which was scheduled on Friday, May 13th, is canceled. The prevailing atmosphere surrounding the recent events in Brussels, we have decided that it is not the right time or place to host this event. The I AM Hardwell United We Are World Tour concludes with a final European show we will announce at a later stage. People who had a ticket I AM Hardwell Antwerp thereof will first be informed.”
