Kaskade announces Los Angeles pop-up store ahead of back-to-back shows

Dance heavyweight Kaskade might be one of electronic music’s most interactive artists when it comes to fan engagement and his latest surprise project is aimed at Los Angeles fans. As the DJ and producer gears up for his two-night, three-show takeover this weekend in LA, he announced today a pop-up shop in support of his upcoming performances cementing what many Southern California fans are dubbing “Kaskade week.” The pop-up will include exclusive merchandise like shirts, hats and pins that can only be found at the store plus a daily lineup of local DJ talent such as Ravell, Penthouse Penthouse, Brownies and Lemonade All Stars and more.

Kaskade’s slate of LA shows comes on the fifth anniversary of the notorious near-riots back in 2011 when he posted to his then 92,000 Twitter followers to meet him on Hollywood Boulevard for a surprise set drawing over 3,000 party-goers within a couple hours. Police arrived in riot gear and immediately shut down the impromptu rave.

Kaskade will perform a special Redux set this Friday, May 6 at the Palladium in Hollywood and a 20,000-person gig at the LA Expo Center on Saturday, May 7, followed by an after party in downtown Los Angeles at Exchange nightclub.
