Stream Kill The Noise’s new 15-track ‘Alt Classic’ remix album
Iconoclastic producer Kill The Noise has unleashed a huge remix package titled Alt Classic, a play on his 2015 OWSLA-backed full length, Occult Classic. The album is a 15-track take on the original with remixes by Snails, Herobust, Twine, and more. Several of the album’s best pull double duty with reworks by artists with divergent visions such as Dillon Francis’s collaboration “Dolphin on Wheels.”
The varied pool of talented remixers also creates some interesting crossovers as in album closer “All In My Head” which sets up unlikely collaborations between AWOLNATION and Gammer and doubles down on the ’90s rave aesthetics of the original. Several remixes which appeared in the album’s preview mix are noticeably absent from the release. In a tweet, the producer promised efforts from Slander and NGHTMRE were still on their way.
The album is currently available for purchase and streaming as is.
