Las Vegas’ newest nightclub JEWEL set to open this weekend
Hakkasan Group continues to up the ante with each new nightlife venture. Joining their eponymous venue at the MGM Grand and their forward-thinking OMNIA club at Ceasar’s Palace, their newest creation is JEWEL: a high-end nightclub embedded in the renowned ARIA Resort & Casino on the Strip.
As opposed to the gargantuan size of both Hakkasan and OMNIA, JEWEL’s 24,000 sq ft space will serve up to around 2,000 partiers at max capacity. James Algate, Vice President of Entertainment for Hakkasan Group, said of the new venue: “It will diversify our existing nightclub portfolio and provide our guests with an intimate nightlife experience each weekend.”
Further defining the new venture is the careful programming behind its musical lineups. Algate described it as an “eclectic talent roster featuring the best in electronic music, open-format artists, live performances and celebrity hosting.” The scheduled talent for the next few months reinforces Algate’s claim, with artists like Steve Aoki, Dada Life, Oliver Heldens, Lil Jon and more slated to perform.
On Thursday, May 19, JEWEL, will officially open its doors to the public for its grand opening.
“Grand Opening weekend is going to be quite the affair,” Algate says. “Showcasing a diverse lineup, and surprise performances, this weekend is going to be one that everyone is talking about long into the future.”
Ultimately, JEWEL looks to combine many of Hakkasan’s strongest assets into a one-of-a-kind nightlife experience:
“JEWEL will be all about the venue, the luxury experience and the merging of technology, talent and production elements to culminate in an unrivaled spectacle and unforgettable night out.”
