Skrillex jumps on the Beats 1 airwaves twice a month for his recurring label showcase, OWSLA Radio. Sonny and company set up shop for a two-hour show wherever they happen to find themselves. The latest installment, for instance, aligned with FORM Arcosanti in Arizona — Hundred Waters’ boundary-pushing festival. DJing by the pool overlooking Arcosanti’s south mesa, Skrillex and Team EZY went back-to-back for two hours whilst sipping Rosé, cycling through a thick catalog of jams. Working in heavy-handed bass gems from Barely Alive, KOAN Sound and Foreign Beggars, Skrillex hosted a chilled-out poolside party for a handful of lucky attendees crowded around his CDJs. Drake and Justin Bieber are weaved into the two hour session, blended with tunes from Mura Masa, Flume, and Milo & Otis, and at one point, someone from the crowd even works up the chops to beatbox during a momentary technical difficulty.
