Marshmello makes Monstercat debut with ‘Alone’
Marshmello’s career is only continuing to snowball as he builds his arsenal of fans with his mysterious persona and intriguing productions. The newcomer reached another important milestone in his career upon recently being signed to prolific Vancouver-based label, Monstercat.
His first release is airy future bass production “Alone,” perfectly aligned with Monstercat’s vision. Jubilant chord progressions bounce along crisp bass layers, and, despite edited vocal samples singing slightly poignant lyrics, the overall atmosphere Marshmello fosters is one of hopefulness and unity. Ultimately, “Alone” is likely to serve as a celebratory dance anthem throughout future sets from the masked purveyor.
