Mau5trap posts cryptic video to Facebook hinting at new deadmau5
While deadmau5 has been fairly active in 2016, particularly in posting tracks to his SoundCloud, the producer born Joel Zimmerman has been coy in regards to any upcoming albums or EPs. He did take to Twitter in April to offer some minor details on an upcoming album but has been silent on the prospect since — and whether this proposed release would be involved with his mysterious “Project Entropy.”
The producer’s mau5trap label has now provided the most concrete evidence that some sort of deadmau5 release in the works. In a cryptic video posted to the imprint’s Facebook page, a digitally created mau5head is buried in snow only to be progressively revealed as the wind blows. The video is presented without caption but fans will certainly be excited that deadmau5 may be gearing the machine up for a new release.
