Sebastian Ingrosso, Axwell, and Alesso join forces on new, alcoholic popsicle venture
Sebastian Ingrosso and Axwell have a long history of collaboration, what with their current side project Axwell Λ Ingrosso and, of course, comprising two thirds of the monolithic Swedish House Mafia. The two Swedish superstars have teamed up once again, forming a new triumvirate with Alesso to bring fans not house anthems, but rather alcoholic popsicles.
Founded by Ingrosso, with Alesso and Axwell as partners, the trio took to crowdfunding site WeFunder to offering investors a stake in their new product, N1CE. Containing 5% alcohol, the frozen cocktails were crafted by award winning bartender Jimmy Dymott and come in four flavors: Daiquiri, Piña Colada, Mojito, and Margarita. Their aims are ambitious, with plans to expand to eleven countries this year and make their popsicles “as popular as beer or cider — on the dance floor and off.” With their combined cachet and international fame, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see N1CE pop up all over the world this festival season.
