Watch Grimes’ stunning performance on The Tonight Show
Riding high on the enormous critical and commercial success of her fourth album Art Angels, Canadian artist Grimes has already announced two more upcoming releases and collaborated with A$AP Ferg.
Recently, the talented singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist/producer continued making waves with an impressive performance on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Complete with full skirts, backup dancers, strobes, and LED screens, Grimes gave a rendition of her single “Flesh Without Blood’ that was nothing short of theatrical. One of the more impressive feats she accomplished on Art Angels was a harmonious blending of pop sensibilities with an envelope-pushing experimental edge, and her performance demonstrates what a mastery she truly has over that unique blend of styles.
Grimes is expected to release a deluxe edition of Art Angels later this year, with a follow up LP to come sometime after.
