Flume, Hermitude, and Tommy Trash are just a few of the dance music gems Australia has given the scene, so it is unsurprising to hear that newcomer Arona Mane also has roots in the Southern Hemisphere. Just as Arona’s predecessors, this young producer’s new track, “Never Can Say Goodbye” is something unique in itself.
“Retro Future” is an accurate categorization of this track, introduced by pitched Jackson 5 vocals accompanied by an ambient synth setting the vibe. The track quickly drops into a future funk, overlaying a bouncing bassline with high energy percussion.
