Callie Reiff drops new Skrillex co-signed trap piece with Ronaissance, ‘Tin Machine’

Callie Reiff is already proving to be a disruptive young force in bass music. Emerging on the scene at just 16 years old, Callie Reiff continues to carve her name into the New York club circuit, and has already caught the eye of some of the industry’s heavy hitters — most notably, Skrillex. With a knack for aggressive sound design, a proven affinity for drumming, and demos in Sonny Moore’s hands, Callie Reiff is about to catch a massive wave.

A few months ago, a 40-minute mini mix released via NEST HQ fired off the warning. Now Reiff has joined up with Ronaissance for the follow up, an official release on NEST titled “Tin Machine.”

The track finds the New York-based newcomers patching together a stampeding bass selection, blending tempos from drum n’ bass, hip-hop, dubstep, and shifting half-time trap. “Tin Machine” is an unapologetic mean-mugger that officially introduces the young producers with a co-sign from the boss himself.

Skrillex was backing disruptive, raw bass music from a young Porter Robinson before he had even graduated high school. It looks like history may repeat itself, and Callie Reiff may be the next big power player protégé to come out of the OWSLA/NEST woodwork.
