Dancing Astronaut announces live Q&A with Hardwell from Facebook HQ (June 16)

Between finishing his debut artist album and touring the world virtually nonstop, Hardwell has somehow found time to set full sail into philanthropy. While many DJs talk about giving back to their fans, Hardwell has taken it a step further, launching his United We Are Foundation late last year. Though relatively young, the foundation has already spearheaded several winning efforts — including “The World’s Biggest Guestlist“, a 70,000 strong live aid concert which will benefit 18,000 impoverished children through the next decade.

Today, June 16, Hardwell will accept the honor of playing a DJ set at the United Nations headquarters in New York. The event, organized by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Johan Cruyff Foundation, will spotlight how soccer can be used to promote peace. Much like electronic music, soccer’s egalitarian foundations can be used as a medium for development and a tool to empower typically disenfranchised groups against institutional bias. Former global soccer stars and dignitaries alike will speak on the topic before the event closes out with a soon to be legendary set from the Dutch producer.

In honor of the occasion, Dancing Astronaut will be live with Hardwell at Facebook headquarters at 3:30pm ET in New York City hosting a live Q&A session. The interview will be via Hardwell’s Facebook page where fans will be able to post questions for the iconic producer.
