From promising national chart success to more recent collaboration alongside Craig David, Blonde have become the everyman powerhouse of UK dance music. With the summer in session, the duo takes a break from high caliber original singles with a throwback to a somewhat sacred moment in European house music. Their new ‘version’ of Jean Jacques Smoothie’s timeless “2 People” is a smooth and summer orientated little number that packs a more cool and coordinated edge than the cult classic. Whilst no one was asking for an improvement on Jean Jacques Smoothie’s heyday work, there is nothing offensive in Blonde’s attempt to bring this long serving anthem back into the limelight.
