Josh Young of Flosstradamus announces new solo side project, Me2

In 2012, Flosstradamus put themselves (and trap music) on the map with a remix of Major Lazer‘s “Original Don.” Now, over ten years in the making, Flosstradamus are the uncontested leaders of their genre, mastering an electrifying live show, and recently announcing their own record imprint. Curt Cameruci and Josh Young, formally known separately as J2K and Autobot, built up a movement behind their music with HDYNATION, and now we are finding one of them going back to the basics.

Josh Young recently took to Instagram to announce a new solo side project, with an impending mixtape coming via A-Trak‘s Fool’s Gold Records. After a bender stretch of 30 beats in 30 days, Josh has stocked enough material to kickstart a new solo moniker, known as Me2. Making good on his ‘beat a day’ challenge, Josh Young’s new Me2 production outlet could turn out be one of the freshest new trap sources on the block.
