Porter Robinson – Sea of Voices (PRXZM Cover)
A year after releasing their version of Porter Robinson’s “Sad Machine,” PRXZM present another rendition from Worlds with their cover of “Sea of Voices.” The duo, who hail from Indiana University in Bloomington, craft a captivating cover that flips the original’s somber sound into a glitchy gem comprised of sparkling synths and theatrical percussions.
PRXZM’s cover of “Sea of Voices” pays respect to Robinson’s original by retaining a similar shine that complements the lyrics that sing of life in bloom. With the two-year anniversary of Worlds just around the corner, it’s incredible that Robinson’s debut studio album still holds such influence and importance in the dance music world.
