Skrillex and Rick Ross reportedly enlist Jared Leto as The Joker for new ‘Suicide Squad’ music video
Skrillex and Rick Ross are on the cusp of putting out one of the biggest trap tracks of the year, as the thematic accompaniment to upcoming Warner Bros. film, Suicide Squad. Linking in Miami to film the music video for their new feature, clips catch Sonny and Rozay playing their parts as global DJ icon and rap superstar respectively — though word is they weren’t the only ones. Aside from Harley Quinn groupies hanging out of the back of camera-strapped convertibles on set, rumor has it Jared Leto is playing a part in the new video too, reprising his role as The Joker.
Ross rides a heavy-handed Skrillex beat barking his signature Miami trap lyrics, “body on the corner, million in the trunk, seven figures baby spend that in a month.” A few months back it was only speculation, lyrics like “purple Lamborghini lurking” giving off hints. Now word is The Joker himself is lurking on set of the music video, and an official release date is likely just around the corner.
