His latest release, a remix of Albanian singer Era Istrefi’s recent single “Bonbon,” will surely only keep that momentum going.

Full of Marshmello’s signature candy-colored sound design and dirty, ringing bass, the remix barrels forward on a stomping, mid-tempo moombahton-reminiscent beat, while Istrefi’s percussive, swaggering vocals lend some rhythmic variety and a sense of tonal cohesion.
