Khen reworks Radiohead’s ‘Exit Music’

Israel is known for its abundance of talented artists in progressive house, such as Guy J, Guy Mantzur, and Sahar Z. Getting his start in his native Tel Aviv’s clubs since the age of 15, Khen has cemented his name in the scene over the past few years as one of his country’s most prodigious newcomers with releases on labels including Sudbeat and Lost&Found.

Khen recently felt inspired to re-work Radiohead, transforming “Exit Music” from the band’s seminal OK Computer into a progressive tech sizzler. Khen builds an atmosphere as haunting as Thom Yorke’s voice, using subtle plucks and recurring, ethereal arpeggios to accentuate the original’s muted nature while making the piece entirely his own.

The remix was initially only heard exclusively in his sets, but has now found its way into the hands of Above & Beyond, who will be debuting it to mass audiences on an upcoming Group Therapy show.

In the meantime, the track is available for free download.
