Maddy O’Neill – Just A Glimpse (Original Mix)
Maddy O’Neil, one-half of the former Denver-based electronica duo Krooked Drivers, split from partner Donnie D’albora in February to explore their respective solo musical endeavors. In O’Neill’s case, her next body of work is the forthcoming LP Introspect, which explores the simultaneous pain spurred by the recent changes in her personal life, and the resulting growth and creative development.
In “Just A Glimpse,” the follow-up to her debut solo release “No Master Plan,” O’Neill taps into her background of live instrumental and hip-hop sampling to create a darkly textural result. The artist, who writes and provides vocals for her compositions in addition to producing them, is poised to continue upon the soulful trajectory she has been exploring with latest stage in her career.
