Marshmello previews ‘Rituals’ from suspected new OWSLA EP
Marshmello has etched his elusive identity permanently into the public eye of the dance world. The mysterious performer, who recently trolled fans by allowing Tiësto to don his mask to “reveal” his identity, clearly has a lot of fun with his gambit. However, what’s most important to the producer is his (or her) music, a fact that is evinced by his consistent flow of lighthearted future bass hits. Marshmello recently made his Monstercat debut with his latest release “Alone,” an optimistic number that strongly continues his burgeoning status.
It now appears he’s reached another great achievement, which he revealed over Independence Day weekend. Showcasing a new piece titled “Ritual” alongside Wrabel via Twitter and Facebook, Marshmello tagged OWSLA in the post, suggesting a potential release on Skrillex’s imprint. Having previously shared news of an impending OWSLA release, this may very well be the first single from the EP.
I can’t wait until Ritual w/ @wrabel comes out! Honestly my favorite song I’ve ever made. @OWSLA @Skrillex pic.twitter.com/hYLdhpaBll
