Watch Martin Garrix drop his new future bass single at Ultra Europe [Video]

Martin Garrix has been outspoken about his sonic experimentation in the run up to his debut album. In a concerted effort to venture outside of big room, Garrix has stated that his forthcoming LP will feature trap and hip hop influences along side downtempo tracks.

At this weekend’s Ultra Europe festival, Garrix gave listeners a taste of his new direction when he played an unreleased future bass track. Entitled “Name of Love,” the track features a catchy hook from vocalist Bebe Rexha before progressing into an airy, synth-laden drop. “Name of Love” doesn’t reinvent the wheel in terms of future bass innovation, but the track is sure to please fans eager for the young star to pursue new creative directions.

“Name of Love” will be released on Garrix’s own imprint, STMPD RCRDS.
