New Justice track surfaces at Sónar festival

After celebrating the 9-year anniversary of Justice’s debut album, Cross, a brand new single has seemingly emerged from the duo’s untitled third studio album — their first in 5 years. Last month, Busy P played an incredibly funky set with Boston Bun and Para One at Sónar Festival in Barcelona, Spain for his record label’s event, Ed Banger House Party.

The set’s opener attracted attention after fans theorized that it was a new Justice track. The groovy song is milder than their initial French House sound, showing how the duo have shifted away from hard electro influences and towards traditional disco, as found on their sophomore release, Audio, Video, Disco.

After the speculation ran on The French Shuffle, a Redditor reported that he had played the song for Shazam, and received the following results:

Additional research from Redditors also revealed the single’s artwork. Listen as “Safe and Sound” kicks off the trio’s Sónar set, and prepare your ears for more new Justice in the near future.
