Warner Music Group inks new deal with USHUAÏA Entertainment

Warner Music Group and USHUAÏA Entertainment have joined together to assemble their own dance empire in Spain. The partnership will help bolster the release and marketing of the yearly USHUAÏA Ibiza compilation, in addition to supporting Warner’s search for fresh talent. Lucas Holten, Warner Music Spain’s International marketing Manager, and the Warner Music Spain Catalogue team, will oversee the deal.

“Dance is arguably the fastest travelling, most international genre of music and we are committed to providing a home to the greatest artists and brands in the world,” says Bart Cools, EVP of Global A&R and Marketing at WMG. “Dance fans everywhere love USHUAÏA and this partnership is another strong example of WMG building our presence in this vibrant music market.”

Yann Pissenem, USHUAÏA Entertainment CO-Founder & CEO, shared similar sentiments toward his new partner. “With its expertise and experience in the Dance Music genre, Warner Music Group was the ideal choice when USHUAÏA Entertainment set out to identify a partner,” he commented. “We are both committed to join forces to deliver cutting edge new albums for Dance fans.”

Among Warner’s best known dance labels is Big Beat Records – home to David Guetta, Skrillex, Galantis, Robin Schulz, and countless others.
