Flume’s immensely idiosyncratic style has resonated with fans across the globe and, fittingly, he has embarked on an ambitious world tour to match. While currently wrapping up stints in New Zealand and Australia, and with North American dates featuring a diverse range of supporting acts looming, Flume has released a video recapping his European tour.
The video gives numerous glimpses into soundchecks and the goings-on backstage, along with emphasizing Flume’s desire to put on a truly inspiring and technically difficult show. There are, of course, the obligatory shots of Flume performing for raucous crowds — sure to entice fans who haven’t already bought tickets for one of his upcoming shows to do so — and the artist discussing the unique features that differ European festivals from others around the world. The most intriguing aspect of the video, however, is Flume discussing his show’s setup with his crew, showcasing the thoughtfulness, scale, and teamwork necessary to pull off such a bold performance.
