Aphex Twin’s catalogue has been transformed into a 24-hour mix [Listen]
Aphex Twin’s esoteric brand of electronic music has placed him among the scene’s most prolific producers — a post he’s held since the beginning of his career in the 1990s. He keeps his fan base intrigued not just through his music, but also through his eccentric methods of releasing music. Last year, for example, he randomly unleashed 100 tracks unto the masses via SoundCloud. Earlier this year, he recruited a 12-year-old fan to create the first music video for him in 17 years.
A new mix has now surfaced on Internet Archive that patches together a large breadth of Aphex’s work — 24 hours to be exact. No word has been released as to the mix’s source, but any ardent fan with enough stamina now has a comprehensive bundle of works to listen to for literally an entire day. Listen to it below.
