Diplo is working with Ariana Grande; check out a teaser of their collaboration
As Major Lazer’s impending new album Music Is The Weapon inches closer to its January release date, frontman Diplo has been left with a busy production schedule as he works to cut down the 40 or so tracks that will be considered for the final release. With Usher, Sia, and Travi$ Scott having already been listed as collaborators, and its debut single “Cold Water” with Justin Bieber and MØ topping Spotify’s global chart 4 days after dropping, it’s safe to say the dancehall group’s new album is primed for success.
Now, Diplo has slyly unveiled another potential star collaborator via Snapchat: Ariana Grande. The brief clip depicts the pop star singing into a microphone, then uttering a vulgarity after listening to a snippet of her vocals embedded in what Diplo had created thus far. Official confirmation of her cameo on the album hasn’t surfaced as of yet, but a Snapchat of the two power players in the studio is certainly a good indicator of what’s to come.
