Good Morning Mix: Kraak & Smaak curates Solé Fixtape Vol. 51

Kraak & Smaak have proven one of Europe’s finest house and disco exports. The Dutch trio have delivered no shortage of compelling tracks for the likes of Razer N Tape and Jalapeno Records, including a recent collaboration with Los Angeles soul artist Mayer Hawthorne on “I Don’t Know Why.”

Now Solé Bicycles has enlisted the group for their coveted Fixtape series, which features monthly takeovers from some of the most cutting edge acts in dance music. For Fixtape Episode 51, Kraak & Smaak have curated an hour of timeless disco and house cuts, stitched together in seamless fashion.

The pair said of the mix:  “Compared to our usual dj mixes this one is somewhat more relaxed and more for the ears than for the feet, which is cool to do. It’s also nice to see that our own Boogie Angst label artists fit in nicely as well, in between the electronic, disco and deep house affairs of artists and labels we like.”
