Marshmello recruits Slushii, Getter and more for ‘Alone’ remix pack

Marshmello struck gold with “Alone.” The future bass gem hit the sweet spot of cozying up with fans everywhere from the festival main stage to their headphones at home. To reignite the track’s flame, Marshmello has pulled together six remixes from both dance veterans and newcomers to create a well-rounded remix pack for the Monstercat release.

The EP can be broken down into three heavy and three upbeat remixes. Getter and DISKORD have offered their diabolical renditions of “Alone,” while new OWSLA affiliate Slushii joins them with his own clamoring version.

On the brighter side of the remix package, LUCA LUSH plays to the jubilant nature of “Alone” and gives it a progressive pop makeover. Rising duo MRVLZ applies a similar treatment but in the vocal chop-driven, future pop space. Finally, undiscovered trio Streex stand out with their ‘FuturePopPunk’ remake, injecting elements of 90s pop-punk with a modern future bass twist.
