Suspect still at large following UK festival shooting
An altercation between two attendees at Tea Party Festival in Windsor, England turned violent when one suspect opened fire, shooting a 27-year-old man on the dancefloor. The gunman reportedly opened fire inside the festival’s VIP tent around 8:30pm on Saturday, August 13 and still remains at large according to reports from London’s Evening Standard.
The victim is in stable condition and police are now encouraging attendees to come forward with any information, footage from the event, or leads they may have. Detective Constable Tom Parker of the Maidenhead Force Criminal Investigation Department petitioned witnesses, “Any information you have, no matter how insignificant you believe it may be, could be important to the investigation so please come forward if you have any details.”
