Watch D.R.A.M and salute review tracks from Major Lazer, Skrillex
D.R.A.M. and salute have been enlisted for the latest edition of Fact Mag’s Singles Club. Together the duo cover four tracks, including the Skrillex & Rick Ross collab “Purple Lamborghini,” and recent Major Lazer release “Cold Water” featuring Justin Bieber and MØ. While the former release is given some slack for being “a fire song” tied to “one of the worst movies from the past couple years,” the two had stronger opinions on the latter.
“They made the best pop song of last year,” says salute in the clip. “Lean On was by far the best, but everyone else tried to copy it and now, they’ve tried to make another Lean On.”
Says D.R.A.M. of the track: “It’s just a good tune that non-music lovers and commuters can bop to.”
The duo also rank Blink 182’s “Bored to Death” and Brooklyn rapper Desiigner’s recent release “Timmy Turner.”
