What So Not shares title track from upcoming EP ‘Divide & Conquer’

What So Not‘s long-awaited Gemini EP landed in late 2015 after months of countless setbacks and rescheduling following Flume’s departure from the group earlier that year. The five-track collection included material that had already become What So Not fan favorites by that point due to such an elongated period of anticipation. It showed off the final moments of Flume‘s contribution to the project and officially ushered in Emoh Instead’s solo operation. Gemini  displayed the old creative duality of What So Not; 18 months after the duo’s split, the Divide & Conquer EP is about to demonstrate exactly what Emoh is capable of as the sole proprietor of What So Not.

Dropping the title track, “Divide & Conquer,” ahead of the EP’s September 9 release via OWLSA/Sweat It Out, What So Not puts together a gritty new original piece of futuristic, acid-laced trap music to formally introduce his upcoming project. The track is a grinding, heavy-handed hip-hop instrumental, and now that the “divide” has already been handled, all thats left for What So Not is the conquest.
