The Chainsmokers announce new single ‘All We Know’: listen to it here

Few artists will ever have to wonder how to follow up a release that tops the Billboard 100. The Chainsmokers find themselves in that enviable position with their smash collaboration with Halsey “Closer,” which, despite an iffy performance at the VMAs, has proven to be a hit with long legs.

Not content to rest on their laurels, the New York duo has unveiled a snippet of what is sure to be their next hit, “All We Know.” In many ways it is similar to “Closer” — it showcases their knack for a pop hook with a heavy focus on vocals, including contributions from singer Phoebe Ryan as well as the duo’s own Drew Taggart. However, “All We Know” opts for a more mellow approach and slower tempo. The track also features a different style in the drop, with future-tinged waves undulating over the preview’s energetic high-point.
