Conan O’Brien went to Berghain this weekend
Last week, Conan O’Brien announced his new remote special, Conan in Berlin. It appears the trip is well underway, as yesterday, Conan was spotted outside legendary Berlin nightclub Berghain filming a new spot.
Berghain/Panorama Bar regular The Black Madonna reported the sighting on Instagram, writing: “Husband at Berghain. Sent a photo of Conan O’Brien who is outside doing comedy. Doesn’t he know there’s already a designated Jokeman in this town?”
It’s unclear whether the late-night comedian made it into the venue or not, though with Berghain’s notorious no-filming policy — not to mention it’s uber-strict doorman Sven Marquardt — the odds are highly unlikely. Regardless, it appears Berghain will be making its way into Conan’s new Berlin segment in some form or another.
Conan isn’t the first celebrity to visit the famed nightlife institution. Last September, actress Claire Danes confessed her love for the venue (and techno) on The Ellen Show.
