The 2017 rumor mill is already starting to heat up. Whisperings of Daft Punk’s hallowed return, a possible Justice tour, and a potential comeback for MGMT have already begun to circulate. Now, inevitably, the major festival leaks will begin to spring left and right, and it looks like confirmed talent for Coachella’s 2017 edition is already starting to drip out. Hip-hop super-producer extraordinaire and Snapchat advisory expert, DJ Khaled, is the first confirmed leak lined up to play in Indio next year.
The news was confirmed in a brief video clip, presumably from Khaled’s never-ending social media stream of consciousness, in which a woman likely from the DJ’s management team says, “So let’s go to festivals then. So we’ve already confirmed Coachella, right?” Khaled nonchalantly affirms the booking before the video clip cuts out.
DJ Khaled himself would likely remind you that,”they don’t want you to know,” but now as the leaks start rolling in, he’d also be the one to remind you that staying up on next year’s headliners will be a major key to festival success in 2017.
