Listen to Feed Me’s 9-minute remix of deadmau5’s ‘Strobe’ in full

With the rumors that Mau5trap 100 is a remix EP of his seminal track “Strobe” — seemingly backed up by the tease that Lane 8 posted on his Facebook — fan’s anticipation has gone through the roof. This was exacerbated by a video posted by Kill The Noise of Feed Me unleashing his remix on a lucky crowd. Sufficiently teased, Feed Me’s remix — all nine minutes of it — is now available to listen.

Upon first listen, the intro will sound like “Strobe” — if somewhat off. The British producer cheekily reversed the track’s signature melody before unleashing a rollicking, start-and-stop drop shorty after. He transitions into a gentler, capacious middle section, adding smooth guitar lines to the track’s calm center. This all builds to a big ending, full of thick synthesizers and pounding percussion, all while neatly respecting deadmau5’s work and turning it into something entirely different.
