III Points partners with Fusion to present groundbreaking VR experience, ‘Mars 2030’

Traveling to space has never been easier – that is, until now.

Miami-based music, art and technology festival III Points is set to unveil a revolutionary virtual reality experience alongside multi-platform media network Fusion. The never-before-seen production, Mars 2030, will transport festivalgoers to Mars in a VR experience emulating that of a NASA astronaut’s first-ever journey to the planet. The installation, made possible through ample research and a Space Act Partnership with NASA, will present a scarily authentic portrait of Mars, as seen through the eyes of a real astronaut.

“We been working for four years to truly merge the three elements of music, art and technology in our festival and this year’s Mars 2030 installation really is our best example of all the three points in perfect synchronicity,” said David Sinopoli, co-founder of III Points.

The multi-sensory, 3D project was designed by Fusion’s VR Developer, Julian Reyes, and will showcase an original soundtrack, Hope, conducted by Grammy Award winner Julio Reyes.

Slated to take place in Wynwood October 7-9, III Points will play host to a treasure trove of acts like LCD Soundsystem, Black Coffee, Thievery Corporation and many more. Tickets are still available here.
