Knife Party to release long-awaited Tom Morello collaboration on Friday
It’s been nearly a year since Knife Party’s last EP, Trigger Warning, but it appears the musical hiatus is almost over.
Knife Party are to set to unveil something big this Friday, September 9. Though it hasn’t been explicitly mentioned, all signs point to it being their long-awaited collaboration with Tom Morello, “Battle Sirens.” The brief teaser shared on their socials depicts a cartoon figure clad in Morello-like attire, while also mirroring early previews of the track’s artwork.
The song was first debuted at this year’s Ultra Music Festival, where Knife Party brought out the famed Rage Against the Machine guitarist to perform the collaboration during their headlining Pendulum set. Watch Knife Party and Morello perform “Battle Sirens” below:
