Nicolas Jaar announces new album, ‘Sirens’
Five years ago, Chilean legend Nicolas Jaar unleashed Space Is Only Noise onto his fans. His debut album was an overwhelming success, whose eclectic and expert sampling secured his status as a bonafide electronic music innovator. Since then, not much has come out of his artist space aside from his rendition of the The Colour of Pomegranates soundtrack and a couple outputs, one of which was a remix to Kanye West’s “Blood On The Leaves.”
To the joy of his followers, Jaar began teasing an upcoming album on his social media accounts in August through posting various iterations of its cover. Now, the title and tracklist have finally been revealed in addition to a September 30 release date. His sophomore body of work will be titled Sirens, and will contain six tracks which will be played out over his Mysterious Radio Network “in the coming days.”
A tour will accompany the release, kicking off in the states before heading to Europe.
