Remix Competition: Gigi Rowe – Run the Night
Dancing Astronaut is teaming up with WAVO and Gigi Rowe for a new remix competition for Rowe’s breakout single, “Run the Night.” The Miami-based songstress originally delivered the single back in August, before announcing that it would be included in Ubisoft’s upcoming dance game, Just Dance 2017.
Rowe said of the track: “I love that ‘Run the Night’ is such an upbeat, fun track that will be featured in Just Dance 2017. I had the best time recording this song in Miami with my producer, ill Factor, and feel like it totally embodies the “glamorous runaway” spirit, which is how I like to describe myself.”
Now, WAVO is providing producers everywhere their chance to put their mark on the dance single and receive a commercial release in addition to a cash prize and 1 Year Pro LANDR mastering membership.
Rowe said of the new partnership: “I’m thrilled to partner with WAVO and Dancing Astronaut for the ‘Run the Night’ remix competition. Always exciting to hear a fresh take on my song, and I can’t wait to personally listen to the submissions and hear what the talent pool comes up with.”
