EarDial, the world’s first invisible smart earplugs for live music, were created with the music lover in mind. While the notion of hearing protection continues to snowball in popularity among young people, many have yet to espouse preventative healthcare when attending music events.

In February 2015, the World Health Organization discovered that nearly 1.1 billion teenagers and young adults are at risk of hearing loss due to personal audio devices and exposure to dangerous levels of sound at nightclubs, bars and sporting events. Among 12-35-year-olds, 40% risk hearing damage from attending loud entertainment venues.

To combat permanent hearing loss, EarDial aims to be the most discreet, yet high-fidelity noise filter on the market. Composed of clear, hypoallergenic silicone, the low-profile earplugs comewith a compact carrying case and a companion smartphone app that informs users of their environment’s sound level and the estimated amount of time they can safely remain without damaging their hearing.
