Eric Prydz to release two Cirez D tracks on Monday; listen to them here
This past year has been bountiful for Eric Prydz fans. In addition to bringing his EPIC 4.0 shows across the United States, the Swedish maestro dug into his archives and released loads of original music in the form of three Pryda EPs, two Cirez D EPs, and his debut artist album, Opus.
In August, Prydz announced even more Cirez D music would be surfacing. The aforementioned release has now been revealed and will materialize on Monday, October 3. The EP’s A-side, “Backlash” had initially appeared in Cirez sets as the “Soundcheck ID” earlier in 2016, while its B-side was played out during Eric’s Beats 1 residency sets at the end of 2015. Since having debuted, curiosity has abounded as to whether or not they’d actually receive an official release.
Backlash/Tournament will also be released on vinyl in November, according to Prydz. Listen to both tracks below:
