Tchami to provide his first-ever Essential Mix October 15
Tchami has had an active year on the road, both on tour with the “Pardon My French” crew of DJ Snake, Mercer, and Malaa and throughout his extensive roster of festival appearances, including Coachella and Mad Decent Block Party. Amidst his busy performance schedule, Tchami has evidently managed to spend quality time in the studio, releasing “SIAW” in August and teaming up with his mysterious friend Malaa to produce “Prophecy” back in September.
Indicating there may be more Tchami music on the way, the DJ has announced that he will be making his first appearance on BBC Radio 1‘s coveted Essential Mix this Saturday, October 15. Tchami’s Essential Mix debut marks a major a career milestone for the DJ, who’s proven his knack for mixing broadcast sets with his own “Confession” mix series and his appearances on Diplo’s BBC radio show, “Diplo & Friends.” His two recent releases have ignited a desire for new tracks, and this weekend’s Essential Mix is sure to provide some additional insight into what’s coming next for the DJ.
Tchami’s latest release, “Prophecy,” is available to stream below.
