The BPM Festival announces first showcases of 2017

Since hosting its inaugural event a decade ago, The BPM Festival has provided a tropical haven for tens of thousands of like-minded house and techno lovers from around the world. Originally envisioned as an event where individuals in the nightlife industry could escape the cold winter and relax after the holiday season, BPM has grown from 5,000 attendees and 30 artists to host over 70,000 electronic music enthusiasts and 430 artists in 2016.

Celebrating its 10th anniversary in January 2017, BPM has announced its first ten showcases. The massive list includes a slew of the industry’s leading trendsetters and most eclectic brands, including Jamie Jones’ Paradise, Hot Since 82’s Knee Deep and Sound, Guy Gerber’s RUMORS, Dubfire’s SCI+TEC, Steve Lawler’s Warriors, and BPM’s signature opening and closing party Ya’ah Muul, among several more.

The event will take place in the sunny beach town Playa del Carmen, Mexico from January 6 – 15 2017. Given the massive list of confirmed showcases, BPM 2017 is set to offer house and techno fanatics the crème de la crème of industry talents as well as an infectious new experience. Stay tuned for what is sure to be an exceptional lineup of the underground’s biggest stars as well as up-and-coming producers.
