Check out President Obama’s home turntable setup
As if you needed any more evidence that President Obama is the coolest commander-in-chief to ever take office, the POTUS’ home turntable setup has now been revealed. It comes as no surprise that Obama listens to vinyl — his appreciation of music has been made clear numerous times, more recently through the hosting of the White House-sponsored music festival, South by South Law.
Obama’s home setup was documented as part of a feature from Architectural Digest, who snapped a single photo of his hi-fi setup. Redditors, as they do so well, have identified the turntable as Denon’s DP-300F connected to wireless Bluetooth Kanto YU5s. The subwoofer is suspected to be an Audioengine S8.
Reddit has also noticed one glaring error in the President’s setup. User fenderProcrastinator writes: “Who’s going to be the guy to email the president and let him know he shouldn’t have the speakers and subwoofer sitting on the same table as his record player.”
