Circoloco will make Dominican Republic debut at Electric Paradise
International events brand Circoloco got its start hosting a modest Monday morning party at iconic Ibiza club DC-10. Seventeen years later, the brand has become a house and techno mecca, spreading its revered underground spirit and unconventional parties to dance music fans around the world. On top of maintaining its strong presence on the White Isle, Circoloco now hosts residencies all over the globe and, within the last few months, has put on shows everywhere from Los Angeles to NYC to Amsterdam.
While Circoloco can now be considered a globetrotting enterprise, the legendary brand has yet to bring its iconic party to the Dominican Republic – until now. Circoloco will be returning to its beachside roots this December, hosting a stage at Electric Paradise in Punta Cana. As apprehensive thoughts of winter near and festival season comes to an end, the one-day festival represents a final hurray of sorts for avid dance music fans.
Circoloco has enlisted six of its regulars, all of whom embody the essence of today’s underground scene, to play at Punta Cana’s opulent Cap Cana Resort. Festival-goers can expect to see the likes of Jamie Jones, Adriatique, Damian Lazarus, and Martin Buttrich, among others, at what is sure to be another wild and eccentric Circoloco party that showcases the best of underground house and techno.
Taking place in the midst of what could literally be considered paradise, the highly versatile Electric Paradise is a celebration of art, food, technology, and, of course, music. This year’s event will take place on December 17 and will feature artists such as Armin Van Buuren, The Chainsmokers, Bob Moses (Live), and DJ Snake.
