Japanese hardware company Korg has joined forces with dance legend Aphex Twin to present their newest synthesizer, the “Monologue.” Built “in the spirit” of their recent Minilogue apparatus, Monologue comes at a lowered price of $300, and is powered by 6 AA batteries.

The standout feature of the Monologue is of course Aphex Twin’s contribution — a variety of preset sounds and sequences which are meant to help new users get used to its step sequencer. Monologue also comes with an oscilliscope, LFO controls, and various plugin ports. It will be available in 5 colors upon its predicted release of January 2017.
